In its simplest form, Client Hub is a secure online system where you and your clients can send one another messages that are encrypted to industry standards.

Client Hub helps you to communicate securely with your clients whilst also saving you time and cost and covering some of the implications of TCF and RDR. This allays fears about using software such as Outlook, where emails are not encrypted which might unintentionally allow you to fall foul of the regulator's recommended security policies.

It also provides the client with something tangible for your remuneration. This is particularly valuable if you choose additional options such as:
- Electronic Authorisation (for switch recommendations, tax credit confirmations, etc)
- Private Company News
- Document Library
- Adviser's direct contact details
Client Reporting Online for portfolio valuations
This then becomes a fully self-contained secure client hub for all their adviser-related private matters.

How the messaging works
1. Adviser logs into Client Hub and creates a message (just as you would write a normal email)
2. Adviser selects which clients will receive the message, and then clicks "send"
3. Client receives an email telling them to log into their Client Hub as a secure message awaits them (and might require their immediate action)
4. Client visits the Client Hub, logs in, reads message, and can respond as necessary
5. Adviser can see history of all messages and their status

At the back end, the fully encrypted management control panel provides a date-stamped log of all activity on the system.
